Have you ever gone hungry or thirsty? One out of nine people struggle to put food on the table. To help meet this need, our member Jhadha King is challenging us with a summer Food Bank Drive she’s calling: “Spread the Gospel & Share With a Friend”.
We’re partnering with Palm Beach County Food Bank (https://www.pbcfoodbank.org) all summer to help those experiencing food insecurity. A drop off box will be located at the back of the church which you can deposit your donations each week through the end of August.
Most Needed Items (please, no glass)
- canned tuna, chicken, beef, or beans (dried or canned) - peanut butter and nut butters
- canned fruits and vegetables - canned meals (chili, stew) - canned or dry soup
- oatmeal and cereal - protein bars - rice and pasta - shelf stable milk
We can all help our neighbors struggling to put food on the table! Your food donations will help turn hunger into hope for children, families, seniors, veterans, and individuals in our community experiencing food insecurity. Please check your labels for expiration. Please do not donate damaged items, or with a bad odor, or that have not been stored properly.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
· We wish everyone a Happy Father’s Day! In honor of fathers and the men in our lives who help father us, we are giving out chocolate candy to all the guys this Sunday!
· Are you looking for a church home? Join us! Talk to one of the pastors or call or email the church office.
· We are launching a food drive today that will go through August called “Share with a Friend Summer”. Jhadha King is leading this mission project and will be sharing information this Sunday about how you can help.
· Join our “Pop Up” choir next Sunday (22nd) after worship for rehearsal. We will sing for worship on June 29th. If interested, just show up!
· We are having Vacation Bible School on June 24th, 25th, and 26th from 6:30 pm-8:15 pm. Registration for youth 1st to 5th grade (ages 6-12) is now open online for the churches. https://forms.gle/ovM3WRbaPMnjZFKz9
· Grace Notes Music Foundation has two string music camps for ages 5-18, June 23-July 6 and July 7-18 at First Lutheran Church. They will be rehearsing during the week and will perform some musical pieces during worship on July 6th and July 20th. They will also have a concert at church on Saturday, July 19th at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is invited!
