They say a picture is worth a thousand words! Here are some exciting pictures of progress on two special projects we’ve been patiently waiting for. The basketball courts and roof shingling. Praise God! And thank you to everyone who has helped make these things happen.
Fencing going up around the two basketball courts, in partnership with Youth For Christ.
Tearing off the old shingles, repairing portions, sealing it, and then the shingles will go on.
The striping for the new basketball courts will be next, and then the hoops can be put up. We are planning a dedication service for it once it is all completed.
The shingling should happen next week, weather permitting. They will also coat and seal the flat roof around the windows. The protective glass and frames were repaired or replaced around the stain glass windows in July.

• Sera Butz is our special guest preacher this Sunday. Sera is exploring a call to ministry and is excited to share the Gospel with us all in this way. Let’s support her in prayer!
• Our Sunday school kids (FLAME) are sharing some special music for us during the Children’s Message this Sunday. Don’t be afraid to sing along with them!
• Join us after worship for a special Bible Study led by Pastor Breznen. Grab a drink and a cookie, and come up front for the start of an exciting study: “The Elijah Book, The Story of Passover” led by Pastor Breznen. Dive deeper into your understanding of the meaning behind Jesus as our Passover Lamb, by better understanding the Old Testament stories and festivals. The next two studies will be on the feasts of Passover. We will also be streaming it on YouTube.
• Next Sunday our worship music will be led by the praise team from Centro de Avivamiento Cristiano (CAC-WPB), the church that meets in our sanctuary Sunday afternoons with Pastor Keren Vila. Their keyboardist, drummer, and three singers will help us praise God with some modern praise music at the start of the service. Come ready to clap and sing!
