I’m traveling this week to attend a week of Bible camp in Alexandria, Minnesota where I served as the Executive Director from 2012-2019. They invited me and my family back to enjoy to being campers! You can check it out for yourself at https://www.mountcarmelministries.com.
This week the Bible teacher is Rev. Paul Oman, a pastor that uses art to share the Gospel in creative ways. He will be sharing the life of Jesus before our eyes on a massive-scale continuous canvas (5′ tall by 20′ wide) throughout the week, something like the picture below. I’ve seen him paint before but not this big!
I’m looking forward to reconnecting with folks, recharge spiritual batteries, and maybe even take a cool dip in the lake! We’re also stopping in to see my mother and my brother and my twin sister. We haven’t seen them since we moved to Florida in February. I’m sure I’ll have a few stories to share when we get back. Until then, you are all in our prayers.
